The Gett app is a popular ride-hailing service in Israel, often compared to Uber. It allows users to quickly book taxis and rides through a convenient mobile app available for Apple iOS and Android. With Gett, you can easily request a ride, track your driver, and pay electronically.
We recommend you use this app instead of hailing a taxi. If you hail a taxi, confirm they are willing to turn on the meter and will accept a credit card as a form of payment.
Plan a trip using the Moovit app available for Apple iOS and Android. Pay by scanning a QR code as you board the bus using the Moovit app, or using the RavPass app. Buses are also a common way to travel between cities, and every major city in Israel has a central bus station.
Plan your trip to a different city and purchase your ticket using the app or at the central bus station.
Israel Railways operates the country’s train services, offering a network that connects major cities and towns across Israel. It provides a convenient and efficient way to travel, with modern trains, comfortable seating, and services linking cities like Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa, and Be'er Sheva. The railway system is a popular choice for both daily commutes and long-distance travel.

Cars can be rented at the airport or in any major city. Israelis drive on the right-hand side, and most signs are also in English. You need to have a valid driver's license. An international driver's license permit is not required. You should never turn right on a Red light.
Please account for traffic on main highways from 7-9am and from 3-6pm (Routes 1, 2, 4, & 20).
